Covid Update: Please bring proof of vaccination. If we're not in a crowded place, we can run without masks. Bring one though, just in case it gets crowded.

Welcome to UnRushers Running Club New York City

We run at a comfortable pace that is suitable for both beginners and seasoned runners.

UnRusher Members come in every shape and speed and no one is ever left behind.
We are a body positive exercise community, not a weight loss community.

Where: We usually run in Central Park, Riverside Park or along the Hudson River Path.

When:
(Wednesday night at 6.30) * Saturday at 9 AM.
Details about each run will be announced in our Facebook Group, but if you prefer, we can send you info via email.
You'll also find info about our runs on Twitter.
Please contact us before each run to let us know that you are joining us.

Pace: Comfortable, slow and steady. Depending on the day this can be a little faster or a little slower.
Our goal is to run together and enjoy each other’s company. If you feel that we run too fast, tell us to slow down, that’s why we are here. Really.
We are working on having two pace groups, one with more walk breaks and a second one at a slightly faster pace with fewer or no walk breaks. This pace group is still UnRusher style with a comfortable pace.|

*Our runs are more ad hoc these days due to the pandemic and as of now we're not running twice a week. But please don't hesitate to reach out, we're hoping things go back to a more regular schedule soon.
