My Thanksgiving Lasagna

My Thanksgiving Lasagna

Your guests will be very impressed by this delicious lasagna. Don’t tell them how easy it is to make! The trick is to use cheddar instead of ricotta. Shhh, it's a secret. ;)

Oven ready lasagna sheets

Fire roasted crushed tomatoes

Tomato pasta sauce

Quorn grounds

Spinach

Garlic

Shredded cheddar cheese

Black pepper

Pesto, jar or your own, my own recipe here

Butter for greasing the lasagna dish

Heat the oven to 350°
Begin by slicing the the garlic into thin pieces.
Mix everything except the cheese into a big pot, then cook it just long enough for the quorn to unfreeze and soften.
Grease your baking pan, fill the bottom with lasagna sheets, add your prepared quorn-sauce mix, top with cheese, add another layer of lasagna sheets and so on until the pan is full, top layer should have filling and extra cheese (no lasagna sheet on top).Cover dish in aluminum foil and cook in the oven for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes. Serve with table salt.

Layer like this, but cover the whole layer with cheddar cheese.
I prefer quorn grounds. Soy based grounds can get too soggy.
Delicious!
